John Pierpont Morgan finances Curtis with $75,000: Janurary24,1906

1st edition of "The North American Indian" appeared: 1907

10 volumes are completed: 1915

Curtis helps found the Indian Welfare League, a lobby group for the enfranchisement of American Indians: 1924

The Indian Citizen Act of 1924 passes due in part to these lobbyists,
finally giving Naive Americans the right to vote: 1924

The last and final two volumes, completing twenty of "The North American Indian " are published: 1930

Curtis made over 40,000 photographs for his twenty volume set of "The North American Indian",

10,000 recordings of Indian speech and music, and made at least
125 trips by train back and forth accross the country: 1930

Curtis is the still photographer and second unit cameraman for DeMilles "The Ten Commandments": 1936

Curtis dies in Whittier, California of a heart attack: October 19, 1952
